Meet the Pastor
Pastor Dean Melchior
Pastor Dean Melchior was called by the church in February 2020, just as the world was about to get shut down by Covid. Pastor Dean was called as bi-vocational pastor so he splits his time between teaching and leading church, while maintaining an additional vocation.
His other vocation is in the world of finance. Dean’s formal education resulted in a BS Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Pastor Dean is a lifelong Bergen County resident. Dean is married to Judy, his soul-mate and partner in ministry. They will soon celebrate 30 years of marriage. They have two grown children.
Pastor Dean joins in a shared vision of Crossroad Church being a vibrant and relevant covenant community, strategically located in Franklin Lakes, NJ. In ministry he desires clearly and compellingly to communicate God’s word, to teach and challenge believers and unbelievers alike. The church is a safe place where all people who are open to hearing God’s word taught are heartily welcomed. If you’re not sure and have questions, bring them. We’re friendly and we love questions!
